I have always said that for each of us there’s a time to come to Red River and a time to leave. When I came here, it was at a critical time in my life. I wasn’t sure of my next step, or how long I’d stay, but I knew it was time to move on from where I was at. This guy I met told me that if I came here, he’d introduce me to his friends and things would get better. That guy later became my husband and the friends he introduced me to soon became more like family. And everything did get better. It wasn’t always perfect. We had our share of struggles, but some of my most important dreams came true right here in this valley. It was here that I became a mother, started my photography business, and got to work in the greatest bar in the whole universe. I was an adult when I moved here, but in a lot of ways it feels like Red River raised me into the adult I truly wanted to be. I couldn’t have done that without the support of this community, or this man, or all of you that have cheered me on along the way. I will love you forever for that. I mean it. Forever. With that said, I feel like now is the time to make our announcement that the rumors are true. We will be moving to Baltimore, Maryland this spring. I plan to take bookings here until the end of ski season and then take a little time to regroup and get settled in our new home before I start taking clients in Maryland. I’m still not exactly sure how this will look when it’s all said and done, but I’m determined to keep this dream growing and thriving. Red River, know that you will always have my heart. Thank you for being you.❤️
