I'm an artist, wife, mama, crazy plant lady, and lover of dogs, people, and food. I was born and raised in Baltimore, but after graduating from college at Loyola University, I felt compelled to spread my wings and moved to the mountains of northern New Mexico. My intention was to stay for a year, but instead I found the love of my life and together we created an amazing little girl. She keeps us on our toes! While out west I pursued my passion for storytelling through photography and launched what is now Living the Dream Photography.
Life moves so fast, and I am inspired by the way photography allows me to capture life's moments—big and small—so that they can be remembered forever. After almost a decade in business, I am thrilled to be back in Maryland, bringing the Dream with me. ​
What can you expect at a session?
It’s important that you know I take this opportunity seriously and aim to deliver photographs that you will cherish forever. How will I do this? From our very first conversation, I’ll work to make a connection with you. Gaining your trust in my insights and abilities is an integral part of my process. Together we will discuss your goals for the session, set a date, pick the perfect location.
When we meet, I’m going to talk a lot, tell jokes, ask questions, and do silly stuff to make your kids giggle. You can expect me to love your kids, even (maybe especially?) the challenging ones. I will speak to them like they are very important people because that is what they are in my eyes. I will guide you as we get acquainted. Then I’ll step back. I’ll encourage you to play and embrace the unexpected. That’s where the magic happens, and I will be ready for it. Don’t be afraid. All you need to do is love the ones you’re with and you’ll look beautiful. Promise.
